But---what truly made our experience so unique was the post-wedding experience we had, dealing with Mendel. We've (b"h) made Simchas before, and we've been fortunate to deal with wonderful caterers, florists, bands, and photographers. No one even comes close to Mendel, when it comes to time, interest, & devotion to detail. You insisted that we meet again & again, to get everything just right, nudging us gently in the right direction when our lack of artistic flair was evident, and putting your own amazing touch on every picture chosen. We always got the vibe that you had all the time in the world for us, and as hard as we tried, you never made us feel that we were becoming somewhat annoying. Every email or phone call was answered immediately (and we all know how rare THAT is!) When it was all over, we felt that we had not only a great photographer, but a new friend as well. I know I've written a testimonial before, but that was about my friend's daughter's wedding. Now I've had the chance to experience first hand the wonderful photography and videography of the Mendel Meyers crew. Our daughter's wedding was outdoors in Marina Del Rey and the entire crew captured that picture perfect day and our picture perfect kallah and Chosson!! The proofs are GORGEOUS!!!! How do we just pick 150 out of 1,000?? Impossible!!! And the video...the best part was that I didn't even notice Roman around and he was right there the whole time, in the middle of all the action, catching EVERYTHING!!! The editing is superb. I cried, I laughed...it's fast, then it slows down so you can catch your breath..it's color...then black and white...the music..WOW WOW WOW ..and I am not only talking about our band... I've said it before...it's pure GENIOUS!!! And the director's cut!!! We laughed and laughed and laughed. I have it only 1 week so far, and I've watched it in it's entirety (3 hours) five times already!!! I cannot get enough. Each time I see it I relive that special day. What more could I ask for? Mendel, David, Elizabeth and Roman....our hat's off to all of you.

I must apologize for taking so long to say thank you for the album you recreated for us, after our album was ruined in hurricane Katrina. When I first saw the moldy album, I was so shocked and saddened. It was one of the last wet, flooded items that we found and I had until then thought that it was "safe", but it was really not!
Then, when I spoke to you, I was overjoyed to hear that you have all the photos on negatives. I was willing to pay any price to get my album once again. I really loved my wedding album and enjoyed looking at it with my kids and with guests. (Everyone was very impressed with the quality of the album!!!) Yet, you graciously told me that our newly redone album would be a gift from you, and that all your productions are guaranteed for life! Plus, you very kindly said that this would be your contribution for Katrina relief! Wow. What true customer service.
The new album is beautiful and I felt like crying from joy when I saw that I had a gorgeous wedding album once again. My kids were so happy to look at it once more. Although we are still not in our own house yet, and have been living with my in laws for over a year, (waiting for a house Post Katrina) someone quipped "well, now that you have your album, its official, and you can move into your own house!!!"
